no words are spoken in this issue.

superman fights a giant bug and gets covered in green goop. he flies back to his apartment and takes a bite out of an apple that was on the table before throwing his cape away and putting the rest of his suit in the washer. he then sees a worm in the apple so he throws that away in the same bin as his cape.

Later while relaxing he hears trouble so he flies to his closet before remembering he is suit is in the laundry and picking an older suit. he flies in to save a school bus from a giant worm and then flies through the worn (presumably killing it), once again getting covered in green goop.

he then returns home to see the bin he put his cape in torn apart and a slime trail leading out the window and realizes the goop mutated the worm from the apple into the thing he just fought.
